Talking abt Penang and xmas
Penang was once ruled by British therefore alot of things there are identical. Such as they have a place call City Hall, Fort Canning etc. Their food is also similar to Sg, they have penang laksa, kway chap, chao guo tiao, carrot cake, bak kut teh etc. but the way they cook all these dishes are different from Sg. For example, for bak kut teh we have the herbal and pepper one, for them neither both, its plain "qing tang" style. Their Kway chap instead of separating the kway and all the intestine in another plate, tis everything the kway the interestine etc in the bowl and dump in. Penang Laksa is not my dish, i dont like it sour, prefer sg one. Their seafood is cheap and nice.
Went for water sports as well, played jet ski, para sailing and banana boat. Its a package which cost 110RM for all 3 activities,very cheap!!Compared to bintan jet ski 30 mins for SGD$60, alot cheaper. Their beach is not fantastic, heard there is alot of jelly fishes in the water so we did not play in the water and the water is not clear.
Went sightseeing as well, to Penang Hill and some other place which i cant rem the name.
Xmas ending soon, so fast..
Went to Yok Chu hse with Tiong, played games and the usual pressie exchange. I receive royce mashmallow chocolate from Yok Chu, quite nice. Stayed at his hse today and ate turkey, was suppose to meet eve, joy and eileen but cancelled again.
Receive quite alot pressies.. like watch from him, scarf, risis broch, keyboard rest pad, chocolates etc.
Hmm.. how to celebrate new year?? *looking forward for public holiday and bali trip!
